Youth Engagement
December 16, 2025: students in Paul First Nation gathered to learn about a solar project being built in their own community.
Through hands-on learning and a 3D model of the future solar farm, PFN youth explored how solar energy works and what it means for their Nation to own and lead a large-scale clean energy project. The curiosity, thoughtful questions, and excitement from students spoke volumes about the pride that comes from seeing something meaningful being built on Nation land, for Nation benefit.
The Paul First Nation Solar Project represents more than clean power. It’s about generational opportunity, creating long-term revenue, strengthening energy sovereignty, and opening doors for PFN youth to futures in science, trades, and clean energy leadership. This is Indigenous excellence in action, and a powerful example of how Nation-led projects can inspire the next generation.
